Meet Heike
Founder and SEO Specialist
Hello, I am Heike, the founder of VA Creative Media. I am a dad of 2 girls, with my youngest here on Valentina - who has CDKL5. Who is my inspiration makes me more determined to succeed and make sure my company makes a change - for more about that, see our Social Mission statement.
For the rest, I have dyslexia, which is why some of the words & sentences are perhaps not 100% correct. As a disabled advocate I find it important not to hide this, and be upfront about it - as this does not affect my skill set and enhances some of my other skills important for SEO and other data analysing.
I specialise within the company in making brands and businesses online more visible using the best SEO tactics available - I have a track record of increasing average conversion by 40% over time with most of the companies I worked with.
If have done SEO since 2012 and have specialised in the subject in more detail since 2019 with a keen interest in ON PAGE SEO and Techincal SEO.
I am also a trustee at CDKL5 UK, which is the UK's parent advocacy group for CDKL5 and also part of the board of the CDKL5 Alliance, which is an alliance of many patient advocacy groups around the world.
Next to this, I am also a keen supporter of mentoring at RB Inspire, where I mentor businesses with any questions about how to grow their business - as I find that it is important to share your knowledge with others.
Luctor et Emergo is my Latin quote which means I struggle and overcome - which fits great with what my company does and wants.

Social Enterprise
We are a social Enterprise, why did I choose to become one - Simply, I want my company to lead in the change of how companies work and think - how they approach people with a disability. However, those from this community that are not able to do a day-by-day job we want to support as well.
Therefore we have committed by signing the social enterprise pledge; we have committed a minimal 50% of our net profits to support this community - which we hope in the coming years to support in many different ways.
But read more about this in our social enterprise story.
